FAQ – 3 Typical User Questions When Ordering Samples:
1> I have some LED lighting graphic display to be powered in my retail display project, can I use the USB host as the power source ?
AW:Unfortunately, No. The USB power on board is not sufficient enough, in addition, the extra power draw may affect the reliability of the whole system.
It is always recommended to use external DC power distributor for that purpose ( and we have the existing hardware ).
2> Does the unit support portrait mode full screen video playback (9:16) ?
AW: For portrait mode video playback, it requires video content maker to turn the video 90 degrees clockwise in landscape mode, then it works well in portrait mode.
If this is a challenge and the project budget is not an issue, it is suggested to use open frame android touch panel and take advantage of the in-built screen rotation sensor to make it.
3> The mounting ears on your drawing doesn’t match my cabinet, could you please resize the mounting to fit our retail furniture ?
AW: Yes, to customize the mounting for your retail fixture, what we need is the installation profile in 3D format, then we are able to make the precise mounting ears for your system.
