Typical Questions Before Ordering – A10S Audio Demonstrator
Q1: Can we use FLAC files instead of MP3?
A: Absolutely. All our audio demonstrators support FLAC, WAV, and MP3 files (up to 320 kbps), ensuring uncompromised sound quality for premium product demos.
Q2: Can we allow customers to connect their own music device (e.g., smartphone , iPad)?
A: Yes. We support auto-sensing AUX inputs for external devices, enabling shoppers to experience your products with their own music for a personalized demo. The customer device line-in is available both in wired and wireless (bluetooth )versions, it supports both Android phones and iPhones.
Q3: Can we mix headphones and speakers in one setup?
A: Yes, both headphones and speakers can be connected. Each output has its own dedicated amplifier to support a wide range of audio products, including high-powered models.
However, for speakers, we recommend a single-output demo mode to avoid audio overlap in-store, ensuring a focused comparison.
For headphones, simultaneous playback across outputs is typically acceptable.
Q4: Can we use different types of selector buttons?
A: Yes. In addition to LED push buttons, we offer capacitive touch buttons and rotary knobs that combine track selection and volume control in one interface.
Q5: What if we need a unique user flow or playback behavior not available in your default firmware?
A: We offer custom firmware development. Configurable elements include:
•Default track/playlist assignment
•Output-specific volume levels
•Timeout intervals
•Volume increment steps
•Playlist-to-output mapping
•All settings can be loaded via text-based configuration files for tech-free updates
Q6: Our client is a top-tier audio brand. Do you have detailed acoustic testing data to meet their standards?
A: Yes. We provide professional acoustic performance data, measured with industry-certified test equipment. Data includes:
•THD (Total Harmonic Distortion)
•Output gain levels
•Frequency response
•Amplifier performance for Hi-Fi and high-power scenarios
This can be shared upon request based on your demonstration specifications.
Q7: Can your retail audio solutions support multi-user retail demo independently, for example, shopper A and shopper B can listen to their own, dedicated playlist / files ?
A: Yes. We have the solutions to connect and control up to 4 different audio player unit via a central MCU (micro control unit ) to let each shopper get their own playlist and personalized retail demo experience.
